For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The Asian Indian Christian Church of Pittsburgh is not just another church. It is an Idea and a concept. It is a concept derived from the New Testament Church. This can be stated thus: The Church is a community of God's people gathered around a person and vision of Jesus Christ. We, in the Asian Indian Christian Church of Pittsburgh, believe that Jesus is alive; Jesus is real; And Jesus is guiding us.

Following the mandate from the Early Church, we try our best to devote ourselves to four things - God's words and works, Shared life with others, the celebration of the true source of God's community through the breaking of bread, and worshipful prayers.

AICCP is a Welcoming Church, no matter where you are in your faith and life. We promise that you will experience the love of God and of the congregation. You are invited to “Come, See, and Taste” the unique experience of becoming a part of this loving and caring community.

My wife and I had the privilege of being a part of this Church-Community for over 20 years. We warmly extend our welcome to you.

I am delighted to welcome you to AICCP. When I returned to Pittsburgh in 2002 after ten years of missionary service in Slovenia, I met our founding pastor, Thinagar Sitther. We shared a common calling for cross-cultural ministry, and after his retirement, I was honored to continue the work he began.

I have been preaching and teaching at AICCP for over three years now. I deeply love the family nature of this church and our commitment to discipling children. After 25 years of ministry, it is a joy to see the first children of AICCP growing into adulthood and serving the Lord in new ways.

We hope that new families and individuals from all backgrounds will join us. My prayer is that you feel the warmth of our spiritual family as we witness how God is working in the lives of the Indian community here in Pittsburgh.

We look forward to meeting you!

I have been a part of the Asian Indian Christian Church family since its inception 27 years ago. My late husband Brian V. Jegasothy, MD. founded AICCP alongside our then Pastor Rev. Thinagar Sitther and his wife Perpetua. Following my husband’s calling to his heavenly home shortly after we began, I have personally considered this church his legacy.

Since then, I have been dedicated to making AICCP a warm and welcoming home away from home for everyone who enters our doors. We are a Bible-believing church family that focuses on Christian discipleship and service. We embrace all denominations and ages, with a special focus on our children’s participation in our services and Sunday School.

We are delighted that you are exploring our church online, but we truly welcome your presence at our worship service so we can meet you in person. Join us as we experience God’s love together as one united church family.
